MOFCOM Scholarship International Students Nanjing Trip

 

MOFCOM scholarship students had a two-day-research trip last Friday and Saturday.

 

Shanghai Jiao Tong University is dedicated to promoting Chinese culture education to international students. On Dec.1 and2, International Student Center organized a memorable Nanjing Trip for 10 MOFCOM scholarship international students. 

 

On the first day(Dec.1), international students visited Nanjing University, a leading university in China. The Office of International Corporation and Exchanges in Nanjing University organized a splendid campus tour. In University History Museum, students learned rejuvenation of Chinese nation. In former residence of Pearl Buck, students impressed by the vicissitude of China in 1920s and 1930s. In former residence of John Rabe, students moved by the humanism love of Oriental Schindler in China’s war of anti-fascism in 1930s and 1940s. After Nanjing campus tour, students had night tour in Confucius Temple and Qin Huai River Scenic Area.

 

 

On Dec.2, students had a pleasant time in the most arresting and famous tourist attraction in Nanjing --- Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum Scenic Spots. Reclining on mountain slope, the sight blends the styles of traditional imperial tombs and modern architecture. On the top of the mountain, students enjoyed a marvelous bird-view of the whole Nanjing City. Then, students visited Nanjing History Museum and learned about long history, rich culture and colorful customs of China. 

 

 

In this trip, international students marveled at the great natural landscape, the splendid cultural history and the rocketing economic development of China.
