Homecoming: International Alumni Celebrated 123rd Anniversary of SJTU
On April 7, Fok Ying-Tung Stadium became a hive of activity where alumni from all walks of life came to celebrate SJTU 123rd birthday. This year, the alumni association of the university has set up a reception booth to welcome international alumni from all over the world.

In recent years, there is an increasing number of international students who completed their studies at SJTU and some of whom has pursued their career in China. Wherever they are, our alumni always care about their alma mater and keep following the development of SJTU.

After attending the 123rd anniversary ceremony of SJTU, the alumni went to the cafeteria with a beautifully designed meal ticket for lunch. The familiar taste once again impressed them and brought them back to their adolescence. In the afternoon, International Student Center organized a Mini Talk for international alumni. The alumni shared their study experiences at SJTU and put forward many constructive opinions on international internship as well as employment. One alumna from Kyrgyzstan who touched upon the possibility of expanding cooperation between her home school and SJTU. She said she would be very willing to facilitate such cooperation between the two sides.

The one-hour Mini Talk offered every participant a precious opportunity to exchange their views and reconnect with their old friends and teachers.
International alumni are more than a part of alumni association. SJTU is looking forward to witness their growth and development in the future.
