To international undergraduates scheduled to graduate in 2018:
According to SJTU’s Suggestions on the “Implementation of Appraisals and Awards of Shanghai Excellent Graduates and SJTU Excellent Graduates”, Shanghai Jiao Tong University continues with appraisals and awards of Excellent International Undergraduate Students scheduled to graduate in 2018. Matters concerning the appraisals and awards are as follow:
I. Qualification
International undergraduate students scheduled to graduate in 2018.
II. Quotas
No more than 15 students will be selected.
III. Students under these conditions will be considered:
1. Applicants should graduate on time in 2018 according to related regulations of SJTU.
2. Applicants should abide by Chinese laws and regulations, as well as rules and regulations of SJTU, live with high moral qualities and good manners, respect teachers, also with no record of illegality or violation to regulation of SJTU.
3. Applicants should have received scholarship or other honorary title awarded by SJTU or above, or be outstanding in some specific fields.
4. Applicants should pass all curriculums in academic plan, also have an excellent academic performance and rank top 50% in his/her major.
5. Applicants should have taken an active participation and had great performance in the group events, such as cultural, sports or voluntary activities.
6. All the materials should be authentic, otherwise it will be regarded as invalid and the applicant will be punished by regulations.
IV. Procedure of Selection
1. Eligible students shall download the file “Registration Form for SJTU Excellent Undergraduate Students”(print on both sides and fill in）in http://isc.sjtu.edu.cn. Also “The Summary Sheet of Applicants of the 2018 Awards for SJTU Excellent International Undergraduate Students” (only electronic version required) should be filled in truthfully. All the materials should be sent to the school.
2. The first round of selection is held by the school. And then each school finishes the Summary Sheet.
3. The Committee of Selecting SJTU Excellent International Undergraduate Students (Committee, in short) will check the material submitted from the schools. Personally handed material will not be accepted.
4. The committee will publish the name of applicants who have passed the assessment for three days in SJTU.
5. The committee will determine the nominees and report the final candidates to the University.

Academic transcriptions sealed by the academic affair office.
Copies of honor certificates (from SJTU or above).
Other materials:
Papers:
a) Copies of published papers, including covers, catalog and the first page of the article;
b) Recruitment notice or receiving letter with guide teacher’s signature.
Patents and others: Copies of patent, originals should be reviewed by the school.
All the materials should be submitted to the school before 4:00 p.m. Apr.23rd (Monday). All the material should be submitted to the International Student Service Center before Apr.27th by each school. International Student Service Center is located at Room B204, New Administration Building on Minhang Campus and Desk 6, Room 1001, Tao Li Yuan on Xuhui Campus.
